We each have a purpose which God has uniquely and beautifully designed us for. But a lot of us are confused trying to figure out who God wants us to be, compared to what the world expects. The only way we can become the women God has created us to be, is not by focusing on the plans we have for our lives, but the plans He has for us.
“…I am no longer surprised at your knowing only six accomplished women, I now wonder at your knowing any.”
-Elizabeth Bennett (Pride and Prejudice By Jane Austen)
As Women, God gives us great examples in the Bible of what characteristics a women of God should have. Proverbs 31:10-31 gives us some of the clearest examples. The idea of all of the characteristics that are listed in that chapter, are not to say that we should be able to accomplish all that are mentioned but to strive to be those things according to what God has created us for.
The point of this is to encourage you in your walk with God. To see that each of us has been created with such care but that it is our job to use what we have been given and to rely on God for the things that we were not. It’s not until we give him full control of every part of our lives, that we can truly become the people God has created us to be.
